Description
Considered one of the best restaurants in Bairro Alto since the 1980s, it moved to the upper level of the Ribeira Market in 2016.
It was among the first to add a contemporary touch to traditional Portuguese cuisine. The specialty is "açorda" (a bread stew), but it has also become known for its delicious chocolate mousse. The classic dishes can still be found at the new home, and the chandelier from the previous dining room now hangs above the bar. But new dishes have also been added to the menu, and there’s now a larger wine selection.Around 500 bottles cover an entire wall, all Portuguese labels except for the champagne.
This restaurant is a classic must-go in Lisboa, as it is leading an important role in our Portuguese cuisine, right in Cais do Sodré.
