The restaurant has its own vegetable garden, where they grow the vegetables used on the menu. Although vegetables are the focus of the menu, they also serve fish and meat dishes, always using local produce from Funchal. Horta focuses on sustainable, healthy, and modern cuisine combined with a bright, natural ambiance, featuring wooden decor. Meals are accompanied by relaxing background music, which permeates the ambiance and invites pleasant conversation.
There is a bar, connected to another restaurant, where guests can order a cocktail with a clear view of the kitchen.
The terrace is surrounded by greenery and is furnished with benches with comfortable cushions.
