Autódromo Internacional do Algarve

Algarve Motorsports Park is the complex that is the home of Autódromo Internacional do Algarve as well as of Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve and other motorsport facilities that provide all the conditions for unique driving experiences.

The project’s underlying philosophy was to create a group of facilities that are closely related enough to be mutually beneficial. Thus, all aspects of the complex are concentrated in the same physical space: racing track, go-kart track, off-road park, hotel, apartment complex, technology park and sports complex.

Due to the technicalities of its design, AIA racing track has received the highest praise from top drivers around the world and the main governing bodies of motorsports. The natural relief of the terrain was ideal for creating a unique circuit with many uphill and downhill sections that make driving a pleasure, since the corners and straights follow each other in quick succession with steep elevation changes.

For Kart Racing, teams of 2 are built. Each team has 10min of training and then 20 min. for racing. Children have a specific track (min. height 1,30m).

KART RACE (10MIN + 20MIN) - Individual event with ten minutes of timed training to clear the starting grid, followed by 20 minutes of racing.

SUPER SPECIAL “POWER STAGE” - Have you ever wanted to do a super special Rally on asphalt? A short but intense and winding asphalt track waiting for you to make the best time with our “Kit Cars”.

BLIND DRIVING - Team Building exercise, where team organization, communication and assertiveness are essential factors for success. The team will have to elect a participant to lead a course blindfolded, always accompanied by our instructor, while the other team members send the course instructions, via radio, from outside.

All activities include a motivation and briefing pre-talk to give precise examples of motorsports world and encourage the group throughout as in a mentor/coaching-like talk.

1. KARTS  10 minutes  + 20 minutes

Individual test with ten minutes of training timed to determine the positioned on the grid followed by twenty minutes of running.

2. HEAD TO HEAD

Two participants, two similar cars, two symmetric clues, two tentative. The challenge is just one: winning. Accompanied by a professional instructor, employing driving techniques and control of the vehicle to obtain the victory.

3. FIRST TIME ON THE TRACK PREMIUM

First contact with the Autodromo track Algarve International with a tour of explanation next to the instructor, for later  perform two laps behind the wheel of one of the several amazing vehicles that we have at our disposal.
